Kilometer 1 Hub

Kilometer 1 is an initiative in which HTWG Konstanz, the University of Konstanz (UKN), Albstadt-Sigmaringen University of Applied Sciences (HSAS) and Ravensburg-Weingarten University of Applied Sciences (RWU) have joined forces. It offers technology-oriented university spin-offs structured startup support for proof-of-concept and VC readiness. Founding teams go through workshops on business model development, prototyping and financing, and benefit from mentoring by research experts as well as industry-oriented guidance. Participants gain access to co-working spaces and extensive networks to transform their scientific ideas into scalable business models.
