FabLab Magdeburg at Otto von Guericke University is a free prototyping laboratory that supports students and academic staff in turning ideas into functional models. Users have access to high-quality manufacturing technology such as 3D printing, CNC milling, laser cutting, rapid tooling and manufacturing, as well as CAD/CAM workstations. The FabLab accompanies founders from science and research with free workshops, technical support, and access to a MakerLab network for technology transfer.

Health + IT Campus in Magdeburg supports MedTech and IT startups with an accelerator program, affordable office and lab spaces, and targeted networking with established companies. Founders gain access to workshops on regulatory topics such as Medical Device Regulation, 1:1 matching with companies, support for pilot projects, and investor contacts without equity requirements. The program runs flexibly, without rigid timeframes, and allows individual development timelines until market readiness. Infrastructure includes a Campus Community Center with co-working spaces, workshops, prototyping areas, and access to research partners.
