Terms of Use

1. Scope

These terms govern your use of the HAUS OF STARTUPSplatform (“the Platform”), operated by DGH Deutsche GründerHilfe gGmbH. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Description of the service

The Platform provides a directory of startup support programs, communities, and member benefits across Germany, including listing data, user-submitted reviews, and community-submitted listings. The service is provided free of charge to all users.

3. User-generated content

Users may submit program reviews and program listings. To submit a review, you must sign in with email or LinkedIn; approved reviews are shown without revealing your name or LinkedIn profile. Program listings may be submitted with an optional email for follow-up only. All submissions are moderated before publication. By submitting content, you:

• Confirm that your submission is truthful and based on genuine experience
• Grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, and modify the content on the Platform
• Acknowledge that we may edit or remove submissions at our sole discretion, including for reasons of accuracy, relevance, or compliance

4. Accuracy of information

Program data is collected from public sources and user submissions. While we make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and up to date, we do not guarantee the completeness, reliability, or accuracy of any program listing, review, or other content on the Platform. You should verify critical details (funding terms, deadlines, eligibility) directly with the program provider.

5. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or defamatory reviews
• Spam, manipulate ratings, or abuse the submission system
• Attempt to access administrative areas without authorization
• Scrape or bulk-download content for commercial use without permission
• Use the Platform in any way that violates applicable law

6. Intellectual property

The Platform’s design, code, and original editorial content are owned by DGH Deutsche GründerHilfe gGmbH. Program logos and names belong to their respective owners and are displayed for identification purposes only.

7. Limitation of liability

The Platform is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by German law, DGH Deutsche GründerHilfe gGmbH shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform. This does not affect liability for damages caused by intent or gross negligence, or liability under mandatory statutory provisions.

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Berlin, to the extent permitted by law.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
