Corporate accelerators in Germany
German corporate accelerators are usually a door into one buyer. STARTUP AUTOBAHN in Stuttgart runs two scouting cycles a year and votes accepted teams into a pilot. DB mindbox in Berlin runs a 100-day live test on Deutsche Bahn infrastructure. Wayra Germany is Telefónica venture-clienting from Munich, and hubraum is Telekom’s incubator with labs in Berlin and Krakow. Airbus now treats the six-month Hamburg-era BizLab program as history and points at Airbus Scale. None of those homepages publish a standard 6% batch deal, so the useful questions are customer access and the calendar.
What the corporate pages describe
The STARTUP AUTOBAHN site says the platform has moved beyond acceleration. It runs two programs a year. Accepted teams do Deep Dives with corporate partners, then a partner vote, then a joint proof of concept. The next flagship EXPO is listed for Stuttgart on 2 July 2026. The call is stage-agnostic and sits in mobility, production, and enterprise. Founding partners on the page include Mercedes-Benz / Daimler, Plug and Play, the University of Stuttgart, and ARENA2036.
DB mindbox sits inside Berlin JannowitzbrĂĽcke station and uses the same shape with a railway logo. Official copy describes 100 days on real DB data and infrastructure, with challenge-based calls. The Cable Crossing Challenge listed an application deadline of 23 August 2026. They claim 250+ startup projects and about 60% follow-up cooperations. Neither STARTUP AUTOBAHN nor DB mindbox publishes an equity percentage on those pages. The later conversation may be a production-ready implementation or an investment talk, which you can price against the weeks they ask for.
Telco programs in Berlin and Munich
hubraum is Deutsche Telekom’s tech incubator. The homepage we opened lists Tangible Tomorrow 2026 as open, aimed at telecom and human-machine work with universities and spin-offs. A Security Co-Creation program was listed as closed. Campuses and 5G / Wi-Fi Sensing labs sit in Berlin and Krakow. Founder quotes on the same page talk about proofs of concept and Telekom introductions. They do not publish a standard equity slice there, so the specific call is the document to read.
Wayra Germany is the Open Innovation Hub of Telefónica Germany, at Georg-Brauchle-Ring in Munich. The live pitch is venture clienting: match a startup to a Telefónica business unit, run a pilot, then try to scale inside the group. Global marketing numbers on the same page, 530 startups and €260m invested, are Wayra worldwide rather than a Munich cheque size. If o2 is a plausible customer, this is a door into that group. If you needed a seed lead, treat the meeting as a customer conversation and keep reading the Munich program list.
How Airbus and Haus currently list them
Airbus’s BizLab page still lists the historical facts: launched in 2015, 90+ startups, four flagship sites including Hamburg, a six-month program, coaches, and customer introductions. The same page says the collaboration model has shifted toward corporate innovation, startup engagement, and company-building, with more to come. It points at Airbus Scale, which was announced in 2021. A 2019 write-up of the Hamburg cohort is therefore a poor basis for a 2026 application. If a live call exists, it will be on a current Airbus page.
Haus still carries Airbus BizLab, hubraum, Wayra, DB mindbox, and STARTUP AUTOBAHN as equity-free accelerator rows. That is a first cut for the accelerator directory, including the Stuttgart and Munich hubs. The diligence question is whether you can leave after the pilot with a reference. It is also whether the only remaining roadmap is their procurement cycle. Open the operator’s current cycle page before you block a quarter around any of these names.
