AXEL Energy Accelerator

Program Context

AXEL – The Energy Accelerator in Karlsruhe targets technology-oriented startups from the energy sector and offers a modular support program. It includes a four-day bootcamp for idea refinement, an eight-week team training for business model validation, and a twelve-month team development phase focused on market entry, regulatory requirements, IP strategy, and financing questions. Participants gain access to pilot infrastructure, co-working spaces, individual support from industry experts, and relevant network partners. Funding is provided within the Start-up BW framework and does not involve any equity stake. The program is run by the association fokus.energie e.V. in collaboration with regional partners from science and industry.
