Requirements

At the gate, we focus on tech-startups. In order to rent a startup office from us, your idea should involve a technical innovation combined with a scalable business model in a growing market. Your founding team consists of several persons who together hold the majority of the shares, and your company has been established no more than three years ago. The office space at the gate will be your new headquarters, where you as founders will be right there. We’re not limited to one specific industry. Startups at the gate are active in a wide range of fields - from aerospace, robotics and AI to clean tech, quantum computing, medtech, agtech, IoT, software and gaming.

Who is it for?

Insider Tips

• Clearly describe your tech core and any link to TUM / research (e.g. labs, theses, spin‑off) to show why the research campus is the right place for you.
• Highlight concrete traction - prototypes, pilots, first customers or letters of intent - and your roadmap for the next 12-24 months.
• Explain how your team will be present on site and contribute to the gate community (sharing know‑how, joining events, mentoring peers).
