KIT Gründer Schmiede

Program Context

The KIT Gründerschmiede supports technology-oriented startups with intensive startup consulting, the upCAT accelerator and formats such as TECHimpulse and the Student Innovation Lab. It specifically assists with applications for funding programs such as the EXIST startup grant (up to €3,000/month plus €35,000 in material resources), EXIST research transfer, EXI Digital BW and innovation vouchers. In addition, access to Helmholtz transfer formats with six-figure funding amounts is available. Investor contacts and co-investment options are facilitated through KIT-internal networks as well as partners such as CyberLab and NXTGN. The organization is the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, supported by federal and state funds.
