Ruhrvalley Start-up Campus

Program Context

Ruhrvalley Start-up Campus, based in Dortmund (with a focus on the Ruhr region), supports startups in technology-oriented founding, cross-industry innovation, and knowledge-based business models with individual consulting, workshops, networking events, and access to a broad university and industry cooperation network. The program is an alliance of Hochschule Bochum, Westfälische Hochschule, and Fachhochschule Dortmund, aimed at establishing an open founding culture and accompanying students and employees with professional support for business ideas, prototype development, and company formation. The campus is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action.
